Environmental Policy

Basic Philosophy

Based upon our company policy, we will challenge to apply ultrasonic technology to an undeveloped fields, which contributes to the permanent social development, and promotes environmental activity that emphasizes protection of the natural environment and reduction of the environmental impact through the future-oriented products development.

Guidelines for the action

  1. We manufacture products with reduced environmental impact.
    1) Providing environment friendly products.
    2) Striving for reduction of loss capability through quality improvement
    3) Striving for saving energy and resources.

  2. In addition to complying with environmental laws, regulations, and ordinances, we will promote CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) by conducting environmental education and awareness activities.

  3. We incorporate strategic environmental goal into our business plan and prevent environmental pollution and sustaining to improve our environmental management system.

  4. We will strive to communicate with Toyohashi City and other relevant government agencies and local residents, and strive for "harmony" and "coexistence" along with local community.

Green Procurement

We recognize that "global environmental preservation" is one of the most important issues in our management activities because our socio-economic activities have a great impact on the irreplaceable global environment.

In addition, with the EU's WEEE Directive (*1) and RoHS Directive (*2) and other environmental regulations on products being strengthened and made into laws, demands for corporate social responsibility in terms of environmental aspects such as global environmental measures and legal compliance are increasing more and more.
Against this background, in order to reduce environmental impact through the provision of products and services, we recognize that it is extremely important to appropriately manage environment-related materials at the purchase stage of raw materials and materials necessary for production, and to switch to alternatives with less environmental impact, and are working to promote green procurement. We are currently promoting green procurement in our procurement of raw materials and materials.
Currently, in procuring raw materials and materials, we give priority to items that have less impact on the environment, and we are implementing green procurement activities aimed at eliminating or reducing the use of hazardous chemical substances.
We may ask our suppliers to investigate the chemical substances contained in our products and to submit a non-inclusion guarantee, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to comply with environment-related laws and regulations.
