The sale of the "AMS-50SI Bio-Ultrasonic Microscope" triggered the interest of many people in universities and hospitals regarding the application of ultrasonic microscopes in the medical field.
We established the "Bio Ultrasound Microscopy Research Group" for the purpose of exchanging information and opinions mainly among such researchers.
The "First Bioacoustic Microscopy Research Group" was held in 2012, and has continued to be held twice a year, in summer and winter each year, counting the 13th meeting in December 2018.
The number of members of the study group has grown to approximately 100, and there is a lively exchange of opinions, including students, at each meeting.
The 13th meeting was the first meeting held in English as part of JICA project activities aimed at overseas expansion, with Dr. Mohamad Nou, President of the Institute of Technology Surabaya and Doctor of Pathology, who has served as Minister of Education and Minister of Information and Communication of Indonesia, as a special guest, and Indonesian researchers also participated.
