Adopted for JICA Small and Medium Enterprise Support Program

Our proposal, "Investigation on the project of ultrasound microscopy to improve the quality of cancer examination in Indonesia and to expand opportunities to receive examinations", was selected as the second SME overseas development support project in FY 2017 by JICA, and we started the project implementation in July 2018.

Indonesia has begun to introduce an insurance system with the goal of "improving the health of the people", but it will take a lot of time to improve the system for the spread of cancer diagnosis. The purpose of this project is to confirm through a survey of local hospitals and their doctors the possibility of speeding up the improvement of this situation by introducing a simple cancer examination method using ultrasound microscopy.

If the results of this survey show that the functions and performance of the ultrasound microscope are compatible with the current national situation in Indonesia, we plan to proceed to the next stage of the project, which will be the dissemination of the device. We also aim to contribute to society, not only in Indonesia, but also in other countries in similar situations, where we believe that a similar approach will help spread the improvement of medical conditions.
