Tips for using ultrasonic cutters
As with ordinary cutters, you may think that you can cut by exerting force, and you may end up exerting a lot of force. However, by exerting extra force, the blade fixture and other parts will wear out faster, and the machine will thermostatically turn down due to the heat generation.
Cutting should be done at a speed that matches the machine speed and with a light hand.
Depending on the operating environment and material, the blade may break, so please wear protective glasses.
The ultrasonic cutter will melt the cut surface depending on the material, so please leave a width for sanding the finish.:
If the blade or blade fixture becomes dirty, replace it as soon as possible.
We have been receiving an increasing number of repairs where the ultrasonic vibration is not properly transmitted to the blade tip due to weak tightening of the blade fixing screw, causing the handpiece to get hot and the ultrasonic cutter to not cut. When performing maintenance on the machine, please check the instruction manual.
The blade fixing screw will loosen during use. If the machine is used with the blade loose, the blade may jump out of the blade fixture or the main unit and the tip of the transducer will heat up prematurely, shortening the cutting time. Retighten the blade fixing screws before use.
